Reforge Hit Fatigue/Mana Drain cap

Does anyone know what the cap is when reforging Hit Fatigue or Hit Mana Drain? I've been burning through some hammers and have made a few at 40%. I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time trying to reforge one with higher percentage.

No idea. 70%, I'd guess. What type of hammer are you using?

I've been using a copper hammer, same settings that I use to craft all the other 70% hit spells.

Hmm, maybe go to Test Center and just bang a bunch out repeatedly? It won't cost you anything.

Trying to think back... I believe I've reforged at least 50% fatigue on a few weaps I created but I can't remember exactly what hammer was used. I do believe if you start using the extra options (charges) you do have the potential to get higher than 50% but you might get other mods you don't want (or you might get lucky and get a nice pairing).
