Real music skill for masteries

As title says: I know you need real skill in say provo to get the highest mastery, do you also need real skill in music too or can music still be jeweled to 120 and have 120 real provo to get the most out of the mastery?

Log on to Test Center to try that out. I believe the mininmum skill required is 90.0 in the corresponding skill for the mastery you are trying to get. Also, there is no "highest mastery", once you get the mastery, you get access to both spellsongs of that mastery.

What i meant was highest effects from song, when i get off work going to try tc and see.

Yes, you need real skill in Music and whatever Bard skill for the effect of the spellsong to be maxed.

Thnx for the info! Don't have room on template for real skills in provo and music..just tryin to tweak template a bit.

ok, this is how it works.

at 90 skill you can start to use the masteries.

and for each 10 points past there ya get a bonus.
and its allways off the REAL skill, not ringed.

so if your 90 music and provo and ringed up to 120 you will be able to provo high end stuff but your mastery spells will only hit for the begining level for damage or perks, whichever you are using.

OK, HERE IS THE INFO ON THE ADDED PERKS FOR HAVING NATURAL 120 and more of them.

Provo

Inspire:
HCI/SDI: 4 - 16 (Base)
- +1% Bonus per 10 points in a secondary skill above GM. (So thats up to 22% HDI/SDI for a 4x Legendary Bard) (PvP Cap is still 15% SDI)
DI = 20 - 40% (Base) + 3% Per 10 points in secondary skill above GM (58% at 4x Legendary)

Invigorate:
+2 -> 8 To each stat (Base)
(4x Legendary = +14)
Healing 4-16 (Base) , 4xLegendary (10-22)

and Disco

Tribulation:
Bonus damage is no longer physical. Its a flat % of damage taken.
Duration (5-11 rounds) - 4x Legendary =14 rounds
Bonus Damge (8 - 32%) Base, 4x Legendary ( 50%)
Bonus Damage Chance ( 15 - 60%) Base, 4x Legendary (84%)
HCI/SDI Debuff (5 - 20%) Base, 4xLegendary (32%)

Despair:
Duration (5-11 rounds) - 4x Legendary =14 rounds
Damage (9 - 36) (Base) , 4x Legendary (48)
PvM Damage Modifier 1.5x
PvM w/Slayer Damage Modifier 3x
Strength Reduction (4 - 16) Base, 4x (22) (Subject to modifier for PvM and slayers)

to be honest i dont know.

Thnx Poo and logrus for the info...off to train provo to 120. Thankfully can do it with the masteries! With a bit of tweaking i can fit in 120 provo I hope.

but how does the math work.

example that was stated above.

HCI/SDI: 4 - 16 (Base)

so if your 4 times legendary your starting at 16.
then your getting 2 points for disco at 120
2 points for peace at 120
and 2 more points for music at 120???

i just want to get where the points are coming from straight in my head, like i think a few of us are trying to do.

This is kind of generic for all the masteries though the weights may change.

For the primary skills (Music + Mastery Focus Skill)
You get 1 point per 10 skill points above 90. (and since the minimum requirements is 90, you automatically are starting at 2 points - one from each skill)
So from musicianship and your mastery skill you have up to 8 points.
Your secondary skills (other bard skills than your mastery skill) you get 1 point per 10 points above GM, so thats a potential of 6 points.

The weighting of those points vary by spellsong and may be a factor or exponential.
For example

Inspire would be weighted at 2 per point of primary skills and 1 per point of secondary skills.
So thats (8 * 2) + (6 * 1) for a 4x Bard to HCI/SDI -> 22%

Does anyone know what the tile range is for the masteries? I was banging out a few Corgul's last night with a guildy and am adding peacemaking to the mix now for the added bonus but want to know the range for my bard/healer.

On a side note one Dexxer plus disco healer mage and time equals a dead corgul.

Initially it was 6 for despair, 7 for tribulation and 8 for the rest.
Haven't looked at the code to confirm but I seem to remember that all of them were changed to an 8 tile range.

i have 3 computers side by side here in my den.

when we where on our 'corgul run' we would do a couple a night.
i would park my pure bard on the boat and have the Inspire spell up and going.

then the 2 archers and nox necro mage would pull all the spawn to the beach beside the boat and then ultimatlly corgul.
worked like a charm.
that HCI, DI, SDI bonus for just being close to the bard was sweet sauce.
and the bard could chuck out heals and dispells ect ect ect.

really like that spellsong.

Invigorate: Party Hit Points increased by up to 20, Party healed for 7-16 dmg every 4 seconds. (Provocation Based). Party Strength, Dex, Int ,Increased by Up to 8.

Poo, any idea if this can bring you over the 25hpi cap? Time I start working provo on my second account....sigh.
