It's a conspiracy concocted by the NPC Tailors Guild to bilk you of your gold. If you don't know how many uses you will get from the dyes, you will most surely purchase more than one! :eyes:

Well if you notice, there are 3 different colors. Red Blue and Yellow. And due to the various color variations, you might get more or less uses based on mixtures and depth of color. *thinks* yeah.

I'd love for them to tell how many uses they have left. I keep my dye tubs public and some dyes on the ground for use. Would let me change them before they are used up.

I had a friend look at some dyes and I asked him how charges were left, and his comment was "238, 238, 238".

I am tempted to test it and find out how many times a dye is good for. But then you'd have to try it with several different dyes to see if it's a set amount or if they have different sets of "charges". Then again, nah, I'll never do it.
