OK quick question...Our guild joined in an alliance with another guild. Can we still be in an alliance with a second guild, that the first guild isnt in an alliance with?

no, once you join a alliance you can no longer join another alliance until you leave your previous alliance.

The alliance leader can however add more guilds to the alliance. But all guilds will be allied and be green to each other.
