Possible bug with Protection when switching characters..

Welp there may be a bug with protection. NOt sure if this is new or not but Ive had two or three alliance members that have had this problem..when on there mages they forget to cast protection again to cancel it out on the character before they log out and switch characters..they then log into another character mainly a warrior and come to find out that character has protection casted on them. Now is there some kind of bug with this goign around or is this maybe where there in a party and someone has casted arch protection?

Odd. Never heard of this bug. Obviously to have a character have protection spell on them they have to be hit with that spell. If in a party and someone casts arch-protection I would think that you would have to be in the area of the spell being cast. Not sure if being in a party would change that.

Does the character have the benefits of the spell or do you just see the protection gump in that active spell bar thingy.
