Please help me make a macro for lockpicking with the EC

I am new to the enhanced client and am looking for help on how to create a repeating macro to pick the lock on a box my tinker/carpenter made, then if successful lock it with the key inside. Can someone post a list of commands I would need to make such a macro in the EC? Thank you for any help!

is this for raising skill? I thought you had to do a different box between tests. or do you already account for that?

You can use the same box to raise it by level:

• 30 - 50: Pick locked box made by 50 skill Tinkerer.
• 50 - 70: Pick locked box made by 70 skill Tinkerer.
• 70 - 95: Pick locked box made by 100 skill Tinkerer

Once you hit 95, I'd suggest you go to Despise and get a Satyr to discord you to get to GM (or eat pinks)

I used one GM made box with a macro to lock / unlock over and over. For the very last part I did it at twisted weald and satyr.

Why do you want to lock it with the key inside?

I would suggest having the key in your pack. If you accidently hit the key key when the box is locked you can end up in a loop.

Drag ur lockpicks to a hotbar, right click, assign hotkey, done

Also, right-click the hotbar and choose "target: stored", then click on the container. The lockpick will automatically target the box and all you have to do is spamming your hotkey.

Same goes for your key, if you want to save the click on the container while locking it.

Also, you can only repeat a macro for 10 times in the EC before you have to activate it manually again.

For lockpicking, at my old THB guildhouse, there are 100 locked boxes with keys for training. Switching targets was required to gain.

Did they change that? I was away for 10 years.
