old player new stealther ?

I've read in several posts in this forum that with 100%medable leather suit you have 100% chance of stealthing at 75 skill level ,,,,,, question is,, my PVM only toon has 100 hide, 75 stealth all leather armor, is there ANY benefit(other than a couple of extra running steps), any advantage or ANY reason to take stealth above 75 ?????????

This is a good question. Maybe someone can answer.
With all these +20 and +10 stealth items, what should the minimum real stealth be?
I have Cloak of silence +10
Burglar's bandana +10
shadow dancer leg +20 (I want to get)
royal guard investigator cape +20 (thinking of getting)
That's 60 stealth right there! Does 15 real stealth cut it?

I think the only benefits is the extra steps you get, but that's not "really" a benefit.

I am not sure but i think it helps with avoid detection.

It does help in detection if you mean passive reveal.

You stealing and stealth play into passive reveal, when getting close to another player

From the publish 43 notes:
Players who have both the stealing and stealth skills at 100 or higher skill have a higher chance to remain hidden at a distance of 1 tile from another player.

As far as I know that is the only time that the stealth skill effects being revealed.
