XV Does It Again !


<BLOCKQUOTE>XV held their annual power scroll give away tonight.
I have attended the past three but Garton informed me that this was the 5th maybe 6th time they have held this event giving back to the community. This is a great event for new players and new characters.

As in the past the PS were mainly 110s but Garton claims next year they are planning on 115s if at all possible.

I took a gate to the give-away provided at the Luna Bank where I was greeted by Guido on the other end. Over 300 people attended this event and our very own film maker Sammy was in attendance with camera in hand so keep an eye out for the future video * wonders what music she will put to it*. Hundreds of power scrolls were given out.

Thank you XV and all the players that host events. They make Great Lakes truly great.

Since it was done to help people who do need scrolls and may not play in fel or have the gold to buy what they need I think it was great. UOD must fit this group since they were also there getting scrolls.

It is very nice of any group to help out newer or "poorer" players. Maybe UOD would like to host an event. Or maybe not. But it sure seems childish to complain about someone else giving something away and helping others in the process.

Maybe you should scroll your guildies and all the chars affiliated with the accounts before dropping off in new haven like i said, your guildmates were there also getting 110's

XV had no problems giveing your guildmates the scrolls they asked for there was only 1 player who was in teh SS guild who got no scrolls as they attempted to disrupt the giveaway.

Please you and your guildmates are looking like superstars complaining about an event that your guildmates possiably you as we do not know what other chars you have on your account it could have been you, irreguardless we gave you guys scrolls without predijudice and the ungrateful is here posting how much tehy loved it.

Main thing is we all enjoyed giveing out scrolls adn helping those get scrolls that they woudl more than likely have to buy.

Next year we will give out scrolls again and anyone who shows up can get them.

Hats off to XV !! It is nice to see that there are still guilds willing to do something for other people and not discriminate against anyone.

Sure the fel guilds don't need 110s but there are new players and Trammys that won't venture into fel to get them so I'd say that XV is an honerable guild that doen't feel the game revolves around them.
As far as people coming on here to trash talk XV for doing it...LOL...you make yourself look like fools trying to degrade someone that is doing a good deed to the community of the game.

Not only that .. this scroll give-away is a tradition and has been going on for years. It has always been well attended and considering the past 5 to 6 years worth of these event thousands and thousands of scrolls have been given away. It seems to me players do need them otherwise knowone would show up.
Regardless what anyone may think of this guild, certain players in this guild, ect., this is a great thing and a truly wonderful holiday event.

Though it is only 10:30 pm I started my new years celebration early and toasted at midnight EST. Time for bed....happy new years all.

WTF are you a cheerleader? Do they make ya dress up in the skirt with the pom poms before you post? I can see certain members of your guild getting their grove on to that.

Back to the OT. OMFG where was Geo he was supposed to icq me so i could dump off a chest full of 10s like I always do, years of picking them up off dead people and they take up so much storage. Anyways Q me next year and Ill give ya two chests. Props XV.

As always I hate you all probably even more in '08

Geo, and several others including myself left XV a while ago. XV is a great bunch, we just wanted to do something new.

Kuans right, I havent been XV for awhile. Pretty much running with small groups right now, something different here and there when I can actually get on and play. RL has been somewhat hectic.


Plus for the last week and a half I was out in California visiting family (ahhh warm weather! Well, warm for me, they didnt think it was warm!!!), so I ended up missing XV's scroll give away...

No one told me that you noob. Oh well i hate the rest of XV so no scrolls for them. They really shouldn't have let you and Kuan get away. You'd think Garton would have promised a castle or something seeing how your better at pvp then 99.8% of that guild.

Hey, I thought everyone already knew I was a noob!! I'm gonna have to talk to my pr guys, they're not getting the word of my noobishness out properly...

In the mean time, running around with a few friends, trying some different things with the game as rl calms down, getting back into the swing of things game wise.

Should see more of me out and about as time goes! (Hopefully! Damn work, its getting in the way of my fun...)

I think its quite nice of XV to hand out those scrolls..Before joining W-R I had to purchase scrolls at a phenominal price. It would have been nice if I had someone with the generousity as XV back then to help me out. Keep up the kind gestures guys..I will start saving my 115's as well for you to hand out.

There would be alot more negativity. The way I see it with everyone focused on hating me back there less likely to lash out at each other. For example Duklarko lashing out at The Dude and even editing his favorite archer picture simply because I hadnt had a post in a few days. See Mystra even when im skateing those golden rules Im only thinking about you and making your job easier. Consider it my gift to you for all the past and upcomming years

Geo and Kuan are great people... we miss them alot - but if you notice.. it's been 8 months and we are still alive, strong, and doing better then ever. Our guild isn't made up of 1-2 members.. we have alot of long time vets that have been in the guild, and helping to grow it. Yes it sucks when we lose great people, but it's bound to happen eventually. No need to buy someone a castle to keep them.. we would rather part as friends, then buy there love to keep them when they wanted to do something else. Geo was/is a great pvp'er, but I don't agree that he's better then 99.8% of our guild's pvpers. You can trash XV all you want, but we win alot more fights then we lose - we don't give up - and we have fun. To me, that's all that matters

Ok if hes not better than 99.8% of your pvpers he at least has bigger conjes. I kept three of your guys hiding in the castle by myself the other day. Geo would have been the first one out the door. I do love how requiem talks smack whilst hiding in a house 3 v 1
