Some news from Lady Pandora of the Children of Darkness:
Many may remember the great city that once stood just east of the city of Britain in a world that was once united that we now call Felucca. Many may also remember the castle mall that once stood in the center of the city or perhaps you might remember the Blood Keep that was home to Xiled from Humanity (our sister guild) and the many wars that happened between XH and -R- before and after factions. Perhaps a thought or two might come up when we mention the many PvP tournaments that were sponsored by Vamp's Lair, usually held in the demon temple or at the city or in the dome of the sky and certainly if you remember that, you remember the very famous Catskills PvP Ladders were the grand prize was a placed tower (which in those days was really rare to acquire). Sadly, with the split of the lands, most of the RP went with it to Trammel, where it was safe and easy. We saw that city become a ghost town as RP'ers preferred to stay in Trammel. And except for the faction wars that would occasionally surround it, it was hard to keep up the RP that had for so long tied to it.
Well now, Vamp's Lair is returning and we hope to make it as great if not better than before, but we need everyone to help us do that. Participation is key for the role playing community that we love to indulge in on Catskills and if we do not support it, it will dwindle and die. That's why it's important to not only support the events that CoD will undoubtedly be hosting at VL, but also events from other guilds and their members in their towns. CoD will be a proud supporter of any of those events --- even if we must be in full "masquerade" for some of them. The irony... humans pretending to be vampires that are pretending to be humans.
Please DO join us for the grand opening on July 4th, 10 PM EST (made it later on in the evening since it's a holiday). You can find Vamp's Lair in between the towns of Luna and Umbra in Malas. The coordinates are 32'20 N and 1'24 E. This map below will show you exactly where to go!
