SI Spawn Raided by Girl Scouts

A few weeks ago or so, (I forget the exact date as the events were so terrifying I have tried to put it out of my mind) SI was spawning Destard peacefully and undisturbed. With visions of fame, fortune and a “Lieutenant of the Britannian Royal Guard” Sash or 120 Magery Powerscroll, we went about advancing the spawn.
Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a greenish glow. At first glance I thought it was just another Lizardman. But then I saw it…. “Would you like to buy some girl scout cookies?” She was not alone! There were at least 3 or 4 more skipping along behind her towards me. A Girl Scout had somehow found her way inside Destard dungeon!!
I could only assume she made it past the Greater Dragons by bribing them with her cookies. I was crouched behind a rather large stalagmite hoping they hadn’t seen me. I resisted the urge to run as to not give away my position; Girl Scouts are known to be notoriously persistent and no pouch of gold is safe. Girl Scout cookies are known throughout the land for their delicious taste; even the most brave and noble knight or wise magician has been known to succumb to their allure.
When I felt I could escape, I ran back to warn the rest of my party. If I could get to them in-time perhaps a mage could cast a spell of cookie protection to fight off the evil temptations for cookies. The warning was heard and as we gathered together the spell was cast. The spell’s strength was weakened dramatically by the combined forces of the cookie wielding girl scouts. We were able to continue advancing the spawn but the Girl Scouts, undeterred continued their advance.
“Would you like to buy some delicious girl scout cookies?”
The evening ended with the champ Rikktor slumped dead on the dungeon floor, our gold pouches empty and our stomachs full. We did our best to resist the appeal of the Girl Scouts and their cookies and of their disastrous effects but in the end the Girl Scouts prevailed. Heed the warning of this tale. If ever you are out slaying beasts in the forest or dungeons and a Girl Scout comes skipping along, run away as fast as you can, lest you find another victim to delicious Girl Scout cookies and pants that don’t fit.
