Tour of Avalon, the City of Destiny,
and the Kingdom of Dawn
and the Kingdom of Dawn

On Sunday, February 15th 2009, the Kingdom of Dawn held a tour of Avalon, the City of Destiny, and the Kingdom of Dawn as part of its 11th Anniversary Celebrations. The tour started at 2 PM PST (5 PM EST) and gates were provided from Luna Bank in Malas and Moonglow Bank in Felucca.
The guests arrived at the Dawn Tower and after short opening remarks made by Nicholas the Old of the Baja Roleplaying & Event Alliance (BRPA), they were gated to the Avalon Town Hall which unfortunately had collapsed at 9:17 AM on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009.
After the Avalon Town Hall, guests were taken to see the Dead Dove Memorial, the Events Tower of Avalon, Avalon’s Outdoor Wedding Chapel, the home of Jack the Fool, Avalon Felucca Rune Library (circa ’98), Avalon’s Outdoor Fighting Arena, the Apple Tree in front of the Avalon Town Hall, the Avalon Commissary and the Southern Wall of Avalon, which is made up of two buildings – Guardhouse and Armory and The Keep of Avalon.
It was while we were at the Outdoor Fighting Arena that an unknown guest made himself known to us – EM Seppo. Below is a transcript of his question for Nicholas the Old:
Nicholas the Old: Any questions, first?
EM Seppo: I have one!
Nicholas the Old: Ha!
EM Seppo: When was the last time that there was a Tournament of Champions held here?
Nicholas the Old: Oh, it was years ago. 2001, 2002? That area.
Cicero: Ages ago.
Ceno: There was one held in 2002
EM Seppo: Ahmm, some time ago!
Nicholas the Old: *nods*
EM Seppo: We will have to rectify that.

It was at the Southern Wall of Avalon that the tour guide torch was passed to WildStar of the Kingdom of Dawn (DWN). The guests were gated to the Dawn Tower and a short break was taken so all could rest their wary feet.
The first location visited in Dawn was the recently placed Orc Furt (Fort) which includes an orc book library. The books are written in the orc language and includes picture books are well.
Another highlight of Dawn was the recently renovated Dragon’s Breath Tavern to which barracks and a watchtower was added because of the current situation with Lord Casca, the King of Britannia.
The group made their way south and then west around the end of the mountains where they were shown the traditional western border of Dawn before it recently expended further to the west.
The next highlight of Dawn was Nicholas the Old’s Tower which included a memorial to those who have been before us and a shrine to the virtues.
The final stop in the Kingdom of Dawn was the recently placed Southern Gatehouse which moved the border of Dawn to the west. The group then moved onto Mage Tower’s Blessed Felucca Tower before heading to hear Lord Casca’s second speech.
