The gate was up and the crowd began to gather early for what was surely a record number of entries for Legends Greater Dragon fights. There had been noticed lately, on the streets of the cities and gathered in taverns, groups of trainers discussing methods of raising the skills of the great beasts so hopes of some good rounds of fighting were high. EM Helios called for the owners to enter the arena for final instructions for the single elimination fights and the battles commenced!

There were some outright kills but the majority of the fights ran out the five minute time limit EM Helios had set. Dragons with over a thousand hit points would get beat down to near death (I noticed one with only 43 hit points) and then get a second wind and force a decision. The crowd shouted encouragement, the trainers cajoled, and sometimes threatened, and the mighty animals did not disappoint in providing a good show. Some very exciting moments, to be sure!

The dragons that fought tonight in no particular order........

Stuffem

Crimson Death
Smaug
Greater Jabberwocky
Mystic Freitag
Iron Head
Greater Woozle
Clifford Monster
Silver Soul
Swelter
HeManWomanEater
GreaterGreater
Starr Fyre
Fear The Reaper
Whole Lotta Lizard
Bloodlord
Nox
BrownBomb

and the evening's top five were:

5th place was Lilly Ann with Very Large Mongbat

4th place was Hawk Eye with Lesser Mongbat
3rd place was Shal Khan with Fire Shine
2nd place was Wild Rose with Brutal

and taking top honors with the much admired Greater Mongbat was Casper!

Deaths among the dragons were expected and it is noted here that there was only one human death during the event....... Wild Rose mistakenly ordered Brutal to chomp on her, which he immediately did being a well trained dragon that knows how to execute a command!

Congratulations to all and thanks for an exciting night of fighting
!
