Greetings fellow Britannians!

The other night was easily one of the most relaxed, and enjoyable evenings in Napa yet! As usual, both EM Sangria, and EM Fiorella arrived in good spirits, and our great citizens were in rare form as well. It was a very fun evening! I'll skip my usual flowery prose, and just cut straight to the heart of the matter.

To start the event off, the unskilled and skilled were split up. With the unskilled archery wannabe's, my twin dexer included, to go first.

For the unskilled portion, the rules were as follows:

1)The players would be called at random, two competing at a time.
2)Three shots allowed, additional shots only in case of a tie.
3)The winner, whomever had the highest points, would go on to the next round.
4)Fiorella would supply the bow to keep it fair and even.

Seeing as how we were all horribly clumsy, you can image how high the winning points were. The results for the unskilled portion of the tournament were as follows.

Now for the hard part of the evening. As everyone knows, this was not just an Archery Tournament, but a farewell party for one of our Event Moderators. Fiorella, always chipper and absolutely wonderful to chat with, has left the EM program. She spent this one last evening with all of us, and I can't think of a better way to have said this (hopefully) temporary goodbye. She also added one touch, a gift to all who participated. The bows that each of the participants received were inscribed. Both a play on words, and a nice parting gift!

For the interim, EM Sangria will be acting alone, as she is not allowed to run screaming... err... leave us as well. I hope everyone gives her the support she needs until a temporary replacement can be found, though I do believe it will be difficult to top the team we already had.

I am including a letter to the citizens of Napa Valley from Fiorella below, and I know I speak for all of us when I say, it was a pleasure to get to know you Fiorella, and we all wish you the best! Take care of yourself and come back soon!

To my dearest friends on Napa Valley,

I wanted to say thank you for the last year of excitement and insanity. :)

Stepping down from the program was not an easy choice and hopefully only a temporary one. You guys really have made me feel welcome as an EM and a fellow Ultima Online player.

I leave you in the very capable hands of EM Sangria and my yet to be announced replacement. I know Sangria will kill you often and for many reasons and ways. :)

Perhaps soon I can return and on that day I will be delighted. But until then...

May the UO gods and virtues guide your way, may your insurance never run dry and may your deaths be noble or at the very least fun :).

I love you all,
EM Fiorella

Best Gaming Wishes,
Salya Sin
