This may be an odd question but I like keeping things after I die. If a piece of newbified clothing is dyed, does it lose its newbie status? Just came into a nifty robe and want to change its color.

I have an entire chest full of newbie clothes. Back before they made them unobtainable anymore I created a bunch of young characters on an account and stole all their clothes.

I've got a pair of newbified leather gloves floating around someplace. Now just to remember who's wearing them... *walks off looking confused*

This is something I really wish they would put back in.
I isn't like it was some kind of balance issue after all. Even if newbie weapons stayed blessed through enhancement, they would still be essentially worthless, and scissors - a tunic - shoes?

I just never understood why they decided such items shouldn't be blessed.
