[Necromancy] Necromancy Update: Focused Spec players can now cast spells in Horrific Beast Form.

Can someone please explain this to me?

Does this mean I can cast any spell in Beast form now?
Do I need the necro mastery active?
Do I need Spirit Speak?
Is it dependent on your necro skill or can I cast in Beast form with just 40 necromancy (The minimum?)

Sorry for all the questions, I am just very confused about this.

The reason I ask, I was testing out a template with 40 necro, cast beast form, but then I could not cast any other spells.

Not sure if there's a minimum skill requirement for the Focus magic bonuses. But you only receive them if NO other magic skills or magic support skills are above 29.

So focused necro can only have Necro/SS above 30. If ANY other skills such as Magery, EvalInt, Focus, Mysticism, Chivalry are above 30, you will not receive the focused bonuses. (There are more skills in that list but other than taming and maybe ninjitsu I can't think of them right now.)

I think what he's asking relates to beast form changes with the new masteries. I assume that the necro mastery must be active to be able to cast in beast form. This requires at least 90 real skill in necro (jewelery doesn't count). It shouldn't require spirit speak since it's not a requirement for the necro mastery. This is all untested though so I'd say go on test center and play around.
