My val reforge test

first off, I know my sample size is fairly small.. I did 25 reforges without powerful, 25 with. (I'd assume the rest of the runics get a small bump, but didn't feel like gathering it all atm..)

Methods:
Used exceptional dagger. Subtracted 80 imbuing weight for the exceptional damage.
Reforged Vampire and Slaughter.
Used EC to tell imbuing weight

without powerful:

average: 536.36, Median 537

I made a Ton Leaf blades with reforging with a val hammer (tonight..)

I wouldn't use any of these.. I'd be better to reforge with copper, and imbue. If I did Aegis, 20 DCI would always roll.. Quality, would always get Durability or lower requirements (both a JOKE), slaughter.. hit spell or HCI -- neither that great for PvM..

And a few other things, with of course Vampiric always being on..

Conclusion, Val hammers suck for weapon reforging, and studded armor is better than metal.. Has anyone else have a different opinion?

I plan to log into TC shortly and try some armor too with some various settings. I don't have a super quick way to calculate imbue scores, but I'll try to come up with a nice screenshot or something.
