Yeah! I was just going to say where are all the people at? I know people view this forum, speak up! Talk about your cousin Joe and how he set the world record for eating the most clams! Find a new cool game to play? Let's hear about it!

Casino story time, AGAIN!
Today I was to invite my parents along for lunch at Timbers Buffet at Mohegan Sun, but they couldn't make it. So I decided to make it into a small gambling event, but my main objection was going for LUNCH. I had $5 Coupon + $4 in comps from my last visit.
I rolled up in the Pocono Downs at a lil past 11:30am. I witnessed an older gentlemen being helped off of a wheelchair lift by a casino host. Once they got him down, she pushed him probably at least 15 MPH to the door. Heck she beat me! Then I heard her ask how much money he had to spend. Poor guy, hope she took him to a winning machine!
A $20 bill into a penny WOF machine turned into $33, so I cashed that out. This voucher will play out the rest of the day, well the end of the event. I took just $100, from the $200 I brought back from AC. Plus I had $15 in freebie play, which I turned into $16.25 on video poker. A long story short while I was in the older parlor area with the video poker, I ended up dropping $40 in cash. This made me sad as I was ahead, and thought I was on a roll, and then I ended up giving it back to them. Well that place isn't built on winners, so what are you gonna do!
Time for the best part, LUNCH. If you've never been to a Wolfgang Puck Express, I highly recommend them. It's the main place in the food court here, and I've been trying to sample everything from the menu. This time I decided on a Red Pepper and Italian Sausage 9" pizza for $9.95. With the birch beer I also got, it cost me $3 in cash after comps and coupon. Cheap Eatin Yo! In about 10 minutes the friendly server came by with me pizza:
It was totally worth the price, believe it or not, I ate the whole thing!!
The prices are cheap too for other things, most items no more than $12. I had the crispy chicken last time, also awesomo.
Anyway at this point I had that $33 ticket from the WOF, and about $7 in cash. So I was down about $60. Back to the casino floor to get my money back! I had played the Star Wars machine at the Borgata last time, and got some nice bonus, so I saw an open seat at one. I believe I watched you play this at Taj Mahal Terry, the one with the ball at the top that spins and stuff. It's a little different, but the same concept. I played all lines X2 credits for $.60 a spin. When you get the respin bonus, it's not set number of spins. It doesn't stop until these two star wars dudes appear on a payline. The one time I had 36 free spins, insane. When they do appear, you get to spin the wheel. At that point the one whole payline is wild and you find out how many more spins you get. These spins pay out awesome with that wild. I went from $33 up to $50. I was going to stop and be happy with that. I kept on going, up to $75. Kept on going and topped out at $96! CASH OUT. I left this place a few dollars to the good! Going from almost broke to breaking even, is a great feeling.
I indeed left for the car without putting any of it back in. Now the ride home was interesting. The I-81 construction was horrible, 3 lanes merging into 1. The stupid people who won't budge and let people in. Anyway, that took about 30 minutes to get through. Then I make it to I-80 only for that to be backed up. So I get off at the first exit, hoping my GPS would re-route me. Oh boy did it. I ended up on Trailer Lane. Beautiful trailer lane was basically a turn around where these rinky dink trailer homes were on each side of the road. The one porch had a woman, cigarette in hand, carrying a baby, and pregnant. She gave me a weird look. Hey it's not going to be my kid that has problems, don't look at me! Then I went through a nicer upscale development, only for my GPS to re-route back to where I got off. Still backed up, but didn't take long to get through it.
Fun trip, and a great pizza! Until next time..
I had a "Quickie" at the casino today. I wanted to see the new Michael Moore Film-
Capitalism: A Love Story. Well none of the theaters nearby were showing it, the closest was in Harrisburg. I'd be 10 miles from Hollywood, so of course I had to go to claim my $8 in free play for the week! With only a 45 minute window, I had to make it quick. The budget for this time killer was $20 and the $8 in free play. In general, I'm behaving myself in October to finish saving for the winter recession, so I had to keep it real here. Then in November I'm going all out, so watch out..haha
Beautiful weather today, it's the weather you could live with all year. 70 degrees, sunny, and cool at night. I snapped this picture of the sun rising on the way to the gym this morning, knew it was going to turn out nice:
Arrived at Hollywood at 1:45pm. The movie was at 3:30pm, 10 minutes away. My first stop was at the roulette machine. $20 in, after a few $1 bets on black, I cashed out with $25. $5 profit. Took my $20 to a $.2 Wolf Run machine. The fireworks were going:
2160 credits ($43.20). Booyah.
Everytime those Wolf's howl, reminds me of the
Shakira She Wolf song. Maybe I just like to watch the video, IDK though..lol
Went to video poker to play my $8, ended up with $5 in cash after that play. Off to Gliterrati for a cheesesteak and water for $8. She made a darn good cheesesteak. From here I was to go to the car, but I had a few minutes to spare. So a $20 bill went into a $.05 Wolf Run machine. These are $2.00 a spin, so kinda volatile. Heck nobody was playing them, so they were calling me so they could make someone a winner!
1585 Nickles-$79.25!
I came with $35 in my wallet. Left with $131. After food and everything else, I believe I cleared a $75 profit. Glad I stopped, was worth my time. Thanks again Penn National gaming!
I bought my movie ticket on Fandango before I left. That's pretty slick, my first pre-buying of a movie ticket online. This theater was pimped, had the stadium style seating. The seats reclined and everything!
Overall a fun afternoon. The rest of October is going into my savings account, but again watch out in November!
