lumberjacking bonus ... on archer?

there is lumberjacking bonus in the calculation of damage increase
e.g. 50 lumberjacking has 10% damage bonus

1. if i am using a archer with a composite bow, does it calculate in it?
also,
2. is it only axe weapon can have this advantage?

Lumberjacking always count towards the special attacks mana reduction, but the damage bonus is only applied when you are wielding axes.

Only exception is the war axe (mace weapon) which does not get the bonus. I've always thought this was a pity, but it is what it is.
