How are they supposed to even know servers are down? I mean whomever can order them fixed?

I called 1-888-842-6388, EA support. UO is not even on the list, you must choose "other games" category. The Other category is after "The Littlest Pet Shop".

So I have waited over twenty minutes. There is a site called support.ea.com /chat this man keeps talking about. I have no faith...lol Time to hang up. :)

Does EA have a Twitter page? Or whatever those are called? I just do not see how whomever is in charge now will find out this happened. Until Tuesday morning maybe.
Ok, decent news, someone answered and said he would bring this to his supervisor's attention. It is a start... :)

Husband's still in game. He's paging now, for what good it will do. Really...I only wanted to tinker up some tongs....gimme one more chance and I won't log off...I promise.

I tried calling EA a while ago and I was on hold for like 15 mins and then at 9:00 central, it said something like we close at 9 call back tomorrow:( so now im still waiting for online chat....

Roomate just told me that when his guild's forum server was down because of a storm (for Cybernations game) the admin plugged the server via inverter to his Buick to run the server for 3 hours til electric was back on. :lol: (yes I know this probably isn't the same type of problem...)

Wish we had more people with that much dedication working on this game... :(

Normally this is when I'd complain about the lack of a post on UO.com....However, seeing is how if anyone is available to work on it it's doubtful that they have access to update the site, it's not really a reasonable expectation.

Of course, if it goes on much longer, like say another hour or two, it'll become an imperative.

Heh...This post was pointless. I guess I'm bored and don't feel like doing anything of substance.

Anybody downloading any good porn while we wait?

Actually I work my accounts like this ....

Consider the power company, If I dont pay my bill, lights go off. If my bill is paid and lights go off, I call and get a discount. Same with cable or any other service I use.

Ultima Online, if I don't pay my bill I am cut off. Well if my bill is paid and I can't log in, I stop payment on my 22 accounts for the whole month. Now I know you can add that up. Few times of this and they will get the message. I am tired of paying for a service that doesn't take care of me. Tired of POOR customer service in absolutely ALL areas of this game. They can't throw me a bone and think it's " all good" because it isn't. Recently, I let a few houses fall. Yes, it hurt. This game has been near and dear to my heart from the beginning. I have already forbidden myself from purchasing any other EA games. I won't do it. I have invested so much of my time and money, since beta, to this game I love, however .... should they continue to place us at the bottom row of things to do in their company, I shall deeply consider closing my accounts for good. I know it wont hurt me to go out and spend quality time with my grandchildren smelling roses, reading books or spending our Ultima funds on anything else to keep us entertained.

It's your choice to let them continue to drain your pockets....give em a taste of what they give and You will see NOBODY enjoys their own medicine..

Down for me also. My son was able to continue playing until he logged off as I left the room. I would have hijacked his computer and character had he given me the chance!

Actually that was more promising than I had expected.....

I wouldn't expect in-game customer service to know when the login server would be back.

Remember, there's a story about one of them thinking a balron was someone's pet!

So the fact that they are aware there's an issue is step 1, to me. And the fact that, supposedly, there's someone working on it is step 2.

HMM.. First person to reply chooses whether I play Anno 1404 or Sid Meier's Pirates. Never played the former, and the latter is always fun.
