Letter from Governor Inkboy to the Governors, RBG and the Crown

HRH King Blackthorn, Esteemed Governors' & Members of the Royal Guard,

It has been brought to my attention, that scouts from the Village of Elven Song, have noticed unusual activity in the seas not far from the docks of Minoc. As well as sightings, within the city, of unsavory individuals reported to be making note of structures, town persons and guard coverage.

We have yet to uncover the source of these visitations, but a spy - trustworthy to the city and our village - has warned us that there is rumor that Pirates may be set on an attempt to take the City of Minoc as early as this Sunday evening.

I ask all of you to please make the necessary preparations to assist the City of Minoc to combat these rogues, should they attempt to enter the city.

Your prompt reply is anxiously awaited.

The Citizens of Minoc and their allies were able to thwart the invasion of pirates upon our docks. However, some did manage to escape and talk has already begun to grow in Taverns of a larger force returning.

An even more disturbing point of interest, was a pirate disguised as one of Minoc's own, Baron Akron. However, upon his death it was discovered that it was indeed not our Baron Akron.

More information will be provided at Council, with hopefully more intelligence uncovered.
