The other day, while I was packing for a move, I came across my ultima online strategy guide from T2a. I thumbed thru it and started to get this itch. No matter how hard I tried the itch wouldn't go away. And I knew the only way to cure the itch was to come back to my home away from home. It has been at least 5 years since I stepped into sosaria. I played for many years. Approximately 6 or 7. So I have many fond memories of the game both bad and good. I have played wow in the past and a couple other mmo's but nothing has ever givin me what UO has.

So anyway I'm playing from scratch. New account new characters. It's kinda like riding a bike. Lots of stuff coming back to me but so much has change sinc I last played, which was back in 08 I believe. If you have any advice or wanna help a sorta newb hit me up. I look forward to having some new adventures with you all.

Welcome back.

Check the bank in New Haven periodically, people sometimes like to leave loot there.

If you're a warrior, warriors seem to get good gold farming results in a new dungeon called the Painted Caves, near-ish to the Trinsic Moongate. But you've got to be have decent gear already to survive it. But once you hit a certain level it can be useful.

Several of the old dungeons have a brand new loot system that can give you stuff that's good, with the significant negatives of being cursed, unable to be repaired, unable to be PoFed (you'll learn what that means if you don't), or some combination thereof. Good for returners because it can give you a short-term boost in power while you play catch-up.
