Is there a quick way to raise DEX fighting with a pet ?

I have been trying to raise DEX on a Giant Blue Beetle from the starting 50 to 125 before initiating its training but, after spending a few hours fighting, its DEX has only gone from 50 to 60....

I mean, Wrestling has gotten to 75 Anatomy close to 80 (tactics still only 56...), but gained only 10 points in DEX with hours of fighting with the pet ? I do am using Whispering whenever available...

At this pace, how long will it take me before I take it to 125 ?

Is there a better way to raise DEX on a pet quicker ?

Kill things... Why would you want a blue beetle for killing pirates anyways? It be the last thing I'd use on them.

Not for pirates, for Treasure Hunting....

And I do am killing things only, that in several hours of fighting so far, the DEX of the pet only went from 50 to 60....

At this pace, it will be Easter holiday before I will see the pet's DEX reach 125...

Is there a faster way to raise it ?

Probably have to fight things that damage the pet. So it will regenerate stats. Personally I do not waste time on getting dex or stamina. Each dex point is .1 training points. Each stamina point is .5. 25 points in dex is 2.5 training points. Big woop.

Get it's Resist skill to GM via Spectral Spellbinders. After it maxes it's Resist skill, further debuff spells from Spellbinders will cause a pet or player's STR/DEX to rapidly gain up to 125 (if below that). I use Spectral Spellbinders for getting new chars or pets up to 100+ STR/DEX fast.
