nope been around, if you are doing SoS, fish off a few spaces from the location marked in the SOS, you get extra goodies before you drag up the chest.

ya it is kind of like rattling the chest in treasure hunting.
If you attempt to pull an item and let it snap back into the chest it will often spawn more monsters. After I am done grabbing the loot I want from a chest I always rattle it until no more monsters will spawn. It increases the loot you get significantly.
