I have a plan on holding a monthly event but....

...I would like to know who would be interested in joining in on an all-day(?) event that would be medieval in theme.

Planned activities so far are:

~Tournament for each melee class (swords,mace,fencing) if enough enter.If not,all classes will be in one tournament.

~Archery contest

~Jousting tournament.Lances will be used with UBWS so all may compete.

~Mage (caster) tournament.

~Tamers tournament. I haven't thought of which pet would be best for a tournament. Nothing predictable though like dragons. Maybe imps or hiryu's or something.

Each Tournament winner will be given a bank check for 750K and a special "event type" prize that will note that have won the event.2nd place will earn 250K for each event.

At the end of all the events,there will be a feast in celebration of all the participants,and if time allows,maybe an auction.

But...before I try to put this into motion and planned out in detail,I would like to know that I would not be doing this for only a very few that would attend and actually participate. Would you be interested in something like this? Would you like to see something added...or removed? Please share your thoughts.

"Spread the word" is the best help I can ask for at this point. Other than that,if this event does happen,I will need trustworthy judges for each contest.

You might consider using the Battle Chickens for your pet fights.

Horse races go over well at these. We have even done a dunk tank, juglers, a bearded lady and other events one might find at a faire. One tamer brought a trained bear act. Many of these events are more role played then actual, but they have been a hit in the past.

But the dunk tank really worked.

I will attend any event if I have time. From my experience, you never know how many are going to show up in advance.
