because I am aquiring many different scrolls of Transcendence. I have noticed that the scroll binders only hold up to 2.0 of any skill point. EXCEPT for one I have that for some reason went up to 5.0 and changed into a 5.0 pinky. Why? What makes that difference? I would much rather make 5.0 pinkys than 2.0's. Any clarification would be much appreciated!

The scroll binders will turn into a pink when the amount of skill reaches a whole number: 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 5.0

To keep adding more to the scroll (using a single binder), for the max 5.0, you have to watch to make sure you don't exactly hit one of those thresholds (until 5.0, of course).

Actually, only when they hit 2.0 and 5.0.
You can binder a 3.0 and then add a 2.0 to make a 5.0.
If you bind a .1 then it will allow you to bind a 2.0 on that same binder. But you can't use a binder directly on a 2.0 scroll.

According to the uo.com wiki the max is 10, with the scrolls becoming usable at 2.0, 5.0, and 10.0.

If you go over 10 points though, you evidently loose your extra points.

You lose points going over 5 so 10 is not possible.

The wiki seems to have wrong information. You get the message that the extra points will be wasted when you add a scroll to the binder that would cause it to go past 5.0.
Had it to happen to me last week when creating a 5.0 inscription.

Ah, was wondering about that. I've never seen anything over 5.0 myself, so I thought I'd post the wiki info.

Just to show that the wiki has wrong information, I burned a .6 wrestling sot:

As of now, you can't create sots larger than 5.0 in value.
