Firstly, a warm thanks to all those who helped us celebrate the Purple Guardians of HONOR turning 12 this month. We certainly hope everyone enjoyed the various festivities, and look forward to hosting some of the more popular events on a monthly basis in the very near future.
As we conclude this grand festival I'd like invite you to stay for a tale, a tale of the inspiration behind each event as we Honor the the Gods of Skill that our founder, Lord Borg, sought to offer leadership and counsel.
To Venus, Goddess of Love we offer purple bandages. A testament to our Compassion to heal one another as we battle for Justice and Honor.
To Hades, God of the Underworld, we offer a skull with a candle. There cannot be death without the light of life. Our spirituality reflects this.
To Minerva, Goddess of Intelligence, we offer a sextant. Our intellect of the lands guides us on an Honest path of Honor.
To Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, we offer an arrow. The arrow is the tool of the hunter as the hunt is the tool of feeding and Empire. We fire our arrows true and straight as we Sacrifice to the Gods.
To Apollo, God of Music, Poetry and the Sun, we offer a harp. The revelry of comrades returning victorious in war, and made glorious in peace is a testament to their Valor.
To Ceres, Goddess of the Harvest, we offer wheat. From the soil we grow our food and into the soil all living things return. It is the renewed essence of our past that forges new paths of Honor.
To Vulcan, God of Blacksmiths, we offer ore. Ore is the fortitude of the soil. It makes it strong and true. From this we craft arms of Courage and Valor, tools of protecting the path of Honor.
To Vesta, Goddess of the Hearth, we offer logs. The trees are forever strong in the soil. They are our roots to our renewal and provide the foundation for our establishments along the path of Honor.
To Mars, God of War, we offer a lance. The lance is the instrument of the Joust, a noble contest of War. In war our victory is a testament to our Valor and the blood of Justice and Honor.
To Poseidon, God of the Sea and Earthquakes, we offer a fishing net. The sea is ever powerful and ultimately destructive. It is this awesome power the Arcane strives to harnesses.
To Hera, Queen of Gods, Protector of Beasts and Women, we offer hides. The hides of beasts allow us to tailor the leathers of protection in the sometimes blood soaked path of Honor.
To Mercury, God of Mischief and Messenger of the Gods, we offer gold coin. The spoils of Mischief fund expansion and growth of the Empire.
And to Zeus, King of Gods, we offer this festival. Honordayz. For it is by his generous hand the Empire has been so fortunate these twelve years. In the spirit of his guidance we forge a promising path of Honor for all the realm.
