@panoramix2009 is correct; Lot E75 closed at 9, so Marky Mark's bid at 9:05 was late.

Unfortunately, because he lost on that item, Marky Mark has now informed me that he does not intend to honor his bids on ANY items for which he was the high bidder. In this auction, that would be only lot E24.

It is clearly stated in the rules that no bid retractions are allowed. In rare cases, where a family emergency or something similar has been the reason, I have allowed them on a rare case-by-case basis. However, a blanket retraction simply because someone bid 5 minutes late and lost on one lot, that is not my idea of a good reason.

Because Marky Mark has clearly stated to me that he does not intend to honor his bids, he is now permanently banned from my auctions.

For the case of lot E24, I will revert Marky Mark's bid back to the prior high bidder, Corum/Genghis in post #34, for 5m
