Gargoyle Weapon

If you were building a gargoyle dexxer, which weapon would you use (not including throwing weapons)? I was planning on using swordsmanship, but none of the weapons seem to stack up with the human/elf weapons. The best I can come up with is using the Dual Axes and their double hit special while running 50 HCI. The Gargish Talwar would be nice if only I could get it to swing at 1.25s. Got a recommendation (other than run human/elf)? Thanks!
