[Resist Spells] Formula Help

Hi all,

I'm trying to work out the formula for resisting spells and I'm sure I'm missing something completely!

(Resist Skill - 40) / 3 * 2

So for resist of 100:
(100 - 40) = 60... / 3 = 20... * 2 = 40 (I get that)

For resist of 110:
(110 - 40) = 70... / 3 = 23.3... * 2 = 46.6 (rounded down to 46). But this should be 42 not 46.

What am I missing in the calculation? It's bugging the hell out of me

I think this may be what you want
* Below 40 Resist, your minimum resistance is 0.
* Between 40 and 100, your minimum resistance value is (Skill * 10) – 400) / 15.
* Above 100 skill, your minimum resistance value is (Skill + 100) / 5.

I was using the formula off the stratics 'resisting spells' page as I always remember there being just 1 formula that worked regardless of your current skill level.
