Floating globe of sosaria?

Its taken alot of time but my house is close to being done.. ( Ty Petra and everyone) Now for the first time ever I want to attempt the floating globe... I know at 1 time there was a tutorial, Does anyone have the link or ideas of where I can find help? TY again :>)

Directions for the floaty globe thing

I thought this really needed a fourth thread! Actually I just wasn't quite sure which thread to append it to. I knew I did this years ago but never wrote down how (or remembered for that matter) so I figured I'd try to do it again and see if I could figure it out. It's very un-fancy directions...
