I noticed the pigs too. I do not have the new booster so this is just a "patch" thing.

seems that everything is much bright... for something is a good chooice, for something else (like fire beetle) is a really bad thing :/

I find pigs to bright...

I complained about this in the KR Beta... The pigs look like they came from an ancient nuclear plant left over from Sosaria's spacefaring past. Day-glow piggies are an art fail.

Hmm... I think I'll go tame a few and rename them 'spider pig'...

yeah, it's only a cosmetic thing. I'd rather they have other priorities (like fix the saltpeter problem on ALL shards) but this is an eyesore I'd like to see toned down a bit. These things look like they bathed in plutonium.

corporeal brume & co. on the shimmering effusion really looks radioactive, and they still die on feet so you are doomed if you still near them

Looked last night and yes, it's WAAAY too bright and washed out now... almost solid bright yellow with NO inner details.

This is NOT the right direction for the EC by ANY stretch.
