After reading the truly imaginative (and colorful
)responses on the blog, as well as the many thread responses here on Stratics, I can only say:

Now I know how it must have felt to the dinosaurs when that asteroid clobbered the earth.

Not Dman, but - it's military slang. Non-Commissioned-Officer-in-Charge.

It's funny how the day after the end of the world, the sun still come up.

I dont' know much about the military.

Although sometimes when I see soldiers in grand central I flirt with them

my hubby was an enlisted turd corporal when we met.. went on to NCO, NCOIC then Warrant Officer when he retired after over 21 yrs. I think we pretty much saw it all except the big bucks the "real" officers made.

I woke my husband up to tell him and I was just staring at the floor. He sat straight up with eyes all bugged and said, "THEY CAN'T DO THAT!" and he doesn't even play. Then he saw me still staring at the ground and hugged and said it'd all be okay.

I guess this means I go back to watching The Girls Next Door and wondering how Hugh Heffner hasn't died of a heart-attack with those three...
