[Event] PvP Bagball

PvP Bagball is tonight, so bring your teams! Teams of players between 2-6 members large may join, though only four teams may play at a time. Matches will last 30 minutes, or until one team scores three times. Teams will be made amongst those who show up for judging at the Skara Brae Counselor's Hall, in Felucca. Games will hopefully begin at 10 PM EST, and team/round matchups begin at 9:45 PM EST.
The rules are simple; Each team will have a base, with a healer in it. As soon as your 'gates' become unlocked at your base, you may begin the fight! The goal is to rush to the center and to return the bagball to your teams base. It is extremely heavy, so it can only be dragged along the ground. As soon as a team scores, It will be announced over 'PvP Bagball' Chat group by the referee, and a new bagball will be dropped ten seconds after a successful score. When a single team reaches either 3 goals or the 30 minute timer is up, you will be asked to return to your bases. If changes are made, they will be announced to all competitors.
For this initial run, we will unfortunately not be allowing tamers. This is a competition of you and your teammates, not your pets. Any other tactics are allowed, and good luck!

NOTE: Those of you in factions are taking the risk of going into statloss if enemy factions are present amongst the other teams. This is a risk that we cannot negate, and that you accept by taking advantage of the faction artifact system.

Sorry we (UHOH) missed it. How did the first run go?

It was a slaughter.
MvP beat out the 3 other sides and won the round.
After th first wave that we won (with zero death), everyone on the other teams recalled out because they didnt think it was unfair, and the EM said the teams are unbalanced because it was 4-way 5v5 and we are the only real pure PvPer group.

Tears were shed, excuses were given, in the end only 2 players left (plus the 5 of us) and the other 13 enemy players recalled.

Again it was no fun, it was a slaughter.

I've heard good and bad things about the event. It was the first time they ran this event so there was bound to be some kinks. I was not at it but I'm sure they will get some feedback for the next time. Congrats on your win.
