After an incredible Fanfest here in Reykjavik, we are happy to announce that EVE Online: Citadel will be released during an extended downtime on Wednesday, April 27th 2016.
Downtime will begin at the usual time of 11:00 UTC and will last for a total of 120 minutes, ending at 13:00 UTC. At tthis point we expect Tranquility to be back online and accepting connections, ushering in a new era for capsuleer empire building in New Eden.
EVE Online: Citadel brings a whole host of new features to the world of New Eden, including new Citadel class structures and new structure assault mechanics to go with them, along with new Force Auxiliary class capital ships, a rebalance of capitals and super capitals, new doomsdays and subcapital weapons, more visual feedback in combat notifications, improved station hangar visuals, structure fitting, a whole host of optimizations and fixes, as well as the illustrious Palatine Keepstar.
