Does anyone know if it is still possible to tame/find 100% energy damage drakes? I wasn't active in UO during this time, so I don't know any of the details but from what I've researched - I couldn't find any confirmation. I'd like to complete my Drake collection but I have no idea how to find the Energy drakes.

Except for on Atlantic. The Kotl City is broken on Atlantic. You can successfully complete the lever puzzle, then double click the time statue in the otherwise locked room, but it won't remove the rubble from the eastern hallway, therefore you can't make your way to the spawn in the blue room.
Great, (sorry ATL) I'm on Baja so I'm excited to give it a try. Would you recommend a few people? Or is it reasonable to do this alone and try to stealth in and tame a Drake?
Opening the city is the hard part. Do as a group if you can. But sometimes that causes trouble when they kill the blobs instead of moving them to another area.
Taming. Just walk up to one. Invis tame done. Then all stay invis the drake and go get another and all stay invis it. Run out recall log off and on 2 drakes.
They have a wide Stat variance. I never find them over 78% I brought out about 20 the last time we did it.

Thanks everyone. Found a willing companion and started the city a little while ago. I managed to tame 14 energy drakes before my stables were full and transferred all I was willing to the pet vendor. It's not too hard, but is expensive if you don't already have the power cores. Definitely easier with 2 people, but I don't think you really need anymore.
on Chesapeake I have a tamer and I have a detect hidden lockpicker so I go down to kotl too look for the semidar cards. When I get enough of the power cores I open kotl and tame a few of the energy drakes for my magincia stall. When I get what I need for my stall I announce it in general chat so that if anyone that is on at the time wants to they can go tame their own. I've done this 3-4 times and every time there usually a few different tamers that go down to tame them. I personally like the way the crimson one looks over the platinum one but whatever works

you have to toggle the levers until you get it in the right order.
and when you do, the path will be cleared to be able to go to the other area.
(the rocks that you passed on your way through)
then you make your way to that area and there is a line of
fire coming up through the floor tiles. one of those spots is safe to pass.
it helps to throw down 6 gold in front of each spot until you find it.
then go through the sparkly.

you can still activate this spawn to tame the energy platinum & crimson drakes
(they will keep spawning until the timer ends & will remain in there until someone kills
them or they are tamed)
and when you do, the path will be cleared to be able to go to the other area.
