Captain Jenkins Foils Blackrock Smuggling

While investigating reports of murdered gypsies near Covetous in the old world, Captain Jenkins stumbled into what appears to be an unauthorized shipment of Blackrock. Unfortunately, the mercenary in charge of the convoy managed to flee. However, an orcish prisoner named Urpurk was freed by the good captain. Over 300 stones of blackrock material was discovered between the packies.

For now, Urpurk has been provided shelter in the town guard garrison in Britain. While his grasp of the King’s tongue is crude at best, attempts are underway to find out everything he may know about this. As you might realize, smuggling of Blackrock is considered a serious offense. Ever since the appearance of the blackrock golems, there has been a system in place to monitor all blackrock related activity in the kingdom.

Anyone with experience of communicating with the orcs is requested to speak with Urpurk to figure out more about him and the source of the blackrock.

Magdalena Canzione [QSA] and Gilthas Zanthes [EcZ] have been busy interrogating Urpurk and Cloam.

Well, I had to brush up on my Orcish, but it wasn't too bad.

Urpurk was forced to dig rocks all day and night (blackrock) and put it in pack horses for the "mean oomie".

The mean oomie put a stinky cloth over his eyes and took him from his orc fort, he said it was in Malas and he missed his friends there. When asked about Captain Jenkins, he said he was the "brave oomie" that clomped the "mean oomie". Jenkins scared him and he ran off.

The next step was finding the correct Orc Fort in Malas (Malz Uz). Nicholas the Old and I found it and spoke to Fere Cloam. She (?) said that Urpurk was taken, and that a "mean oomie with a slasha" came and took prisoners from there.

The interesting thing was that Fere said "dey comz lookinz likz orc, dey foolz uz goodz!"

She even mentioned that they talked like orcs as well, then they put the stinky rags over everyone's eyes and took Urpurk and the others.

We shall continue to look for the other missing orcs, and this other band of orcs with the "mean oomie".

I found Urpurk in Britain and mentioned blackrock.

Urpurk: Uz digz rockz putz inz pack horsez forz Meanz oomie. Workz allz Munn anz Nighz!

I then asked about the meanz oomie.

Urpurk: Im putz stinki clothz ober eyz, en teke uz gonz frmz Orc Fort.

I asked him about his Orc Fort.

Urpurk: Me cumz frmz Orc Fortz in Malaz.
Urpurk: Iz enz Malz Uz mizziez itz. Orc frienz der.

Zanthes and I - hoping to locate additional information - visited the Orc Fort that lies north of Luna. There we found Fere Cloam.

I asked about Urpurk.

Fere: Urpurk gone! Meanz oomie wid slasha comez takz prizonorz! Lat seez im?

Then about the meanz oomie.

Fere: Dey comz lookinz likz Orc dey foolz uz goodz!

I asked how they were foolzed.

Fere: Dey eben talkz Orc! Dey putz stinki ragz ober eyez en takz Urpuk en otherz gonz!

We weren't able to find anything more than Nicholas and Magdalena did. Though as Magdalena mentioned, it stands to reason that we may need to search for additional captured Orcs as well as a possible band of "renegade" Orcs lead by this "meanz oomie."

Avex mentioned an area in the Lost Lands, Felucca. He escorted Steve there. Picture below.

It is at the following coordinates: 73*44'S 11*15'E

There are Orc Guardians (named Filge and Wakgut), black crystals, ore carts, etc. The whole area is blocked off. The gate there mentions something about a treasure guardian.

There is also "A Hired Mercenary" nearby.
