(I am sorry but I don't have all the story or back story and things moved so fast I only managed to catch screen shots a few snippets, if you have more information please add it to thread)
The call went out at around 7:30pm (AEST) and Britain's Volunteer Guard gathered at the Royal barracks in Britain... it seemed a Private Michelle had been captured by General Vemper and must be rescued at all costs.
Sir Ellis Duffield of the Royal Guard came forward and spoke to the volunteers, he urged haste and wished them luck as he sent them forth on the quest to rescue Private Mitchell. The first clues took them to Honor Shrine in Illishnar were the group traveled to Deuce's Vinculum Inn - from there the group went south....at this point I confess I got grievously lost, the trees the paragons and voices of similar distress rattled me.
After wondering around aimlessly for a time I stopped took a breath and went back to the Inn, it was here I found the book with the clues and pieced together enough information that had me heading to The Twin Oaks Tavern near Spirituality in Illishnar.
It seemed General Vemper was on to us, he knew the volunteer guard were on his tail. Putting his taunting aside the troops continued to follow the clues. This time lead north of Compassion to the Pass of Karanaugh...here death came for many and the gray robes were plenty.
The next clues were found in boxes hidden within the maze like building of the Pass of Karanaugh the clues consisted of co-ordinates the ones I heard where 70o N and 56o W, I only managed to confirm one while in the maze building.
The volunteers managed to call out and help each other through this difficult quest and now re-grouped and headed to the next shrine, here it got more chaotic and I barely managed to snap off a few shots that tell the rest of the tale.....
More gray more death robes but eventually Private Mitchell was found, the poor guy had suffered a horrible humiliation of being stuffed in a crate by General Vemper.
It was during this last battle that the troops were encouraged to loot from corpses of foes, unfortunately not many had the chance to do so but later I was shown the prized event item by Cook of Oceania. I am told there was 10 in total.
The Volunteer guards escorted Private Mitchell back to the palace in Britain where they were thanked not only by Sir Ellis and Private Mitchell but the Queen.
Queen Dawn came forth and spoke to the masses she praised for strength and courage. But then she grew somber and made a plea to the troops. Her husband Ors has been kidnapped and the trail has gone cold, she was at her wits end and needs the volunteer guard to assist her with the search. She has asked that they keep their eyes and ears open for clues and rumors of what may have happened to him since his abduction from his farm at Skara Brea.
The evening wound down and volunteers needed to soak wounds and tend to pets, the Event Managers then held a meeting at the councilors hall near Blackthorns Castle. Here Em Delang and EM Aeon thanked everyone for attendance and asked for feedback on the evenings entertainment.
They also let slip details about next Thursdays event -
Thursday 2nd December 2010 there will be a scavenger hunt starting 8pm (aest) and there will be an official event channel made for future events.
