As written on the Europa EM site;
It looks like your anguished cries have been heard, and they have created a second chance to get the ale at least. So far however, I cannot tell if it's active or not. The book is indeed placed within the Cat's Den again (south of West Britain Bank), but Trevelyan and I have been unable to locate any further clues. There's nothing as far as I can see in Buccaneer's Den or in the tunnels beneath, and no new NPCs to question. There is a map on the docks which points to the ork fort south of Yew, but there's nothing inside. We did not locate any pirate camp between Britain and Trinsic.Avery's Farewell
Nathan Hawke burst through the tavern doors. He had something urgent to ask Avery and he needed an answer right now... but the tavern was empty the only thing that was left was a book left casually on the table. Nathan read the hastily written note, put the book down, turned on his heels and left the tavern in a hurry. The Queen must be told of this.
Earlier Avery had said his farewells and had a drink with those who had turned up to wish him bon voyage but he had one last place to visit before he left these precious lands for the unknown.
Stepping out of the Moongate in Magincia he looked sadly at the ruins which were all that was left of the once proud city.
After wandering there for some time he made his way in disguise towards Britain. It was on the way that he was ambushed by brigands on the road. Bravely he fought off the cut throat gang but a lucky swing with a cudgel caught him on the temple and he blacked out…
When he came round the remaining bottles of ale were all gone - no doubt on their way to the smugglers and pirates of the land or maybe taken to be buried in the less well inhabited corners of the lands. Avery shrugged and thanked the virtues that at least the brigands hadn’t slit his throat whilst he was unconscious, maybe they had recognised him? Or maybe they had been disturbed by others…
Avery’s last wish before he set foot on the boat was that he hoped the bottles could somehow be recovered and that they would be cherished as his final parting gift to the people of Sosaria. They had not been easy to come by after all. But that is another story for another time…
