An unbelievably tight finish for the fifth season.

So many possibilities - Spartacus is a guaranteed league leader at the end of the season, but two there could catch her to make it a shared championship, and the three birds on 5 points are all potential trophy winners too depending on how the top three perform. The bizarre possibility of three joint winners, four joint runners up, and five shared third places is mathematically achievable!​

Must remember to make more statues for the winners, just in case....​

Final match of the 5th season will be Monday 27 May, as always 8PM UK time at the O*T Arena, Zento. Hope to see you there!​

So we avoided the potential trophy overload, despite it being possible we'd need to engrave a total of 12 the basic three for first, second and third were enough! Congratulations to Diddlysquat and Spartacus for taking the title (again, in Diddly's case, his stable are constant winners!), well done to Tari Seregon and Sky for their second place, and Shaan Risenfyre and Featherstorm (her original and better name, although the changes to the name filter rendered her Faetherstorm for the later stages of the season!), the Valoria stables almost made it two trophies this year, but Valoria's Own Liza just missed out..... maybe next time!​

Thanks again to all the participants, hopefully the prizes make suitable momentoes of the madness, and inspire future champions - on which note...​

We usually have a short break between seasons, I'd indicated at the end of the finals it may be 4-6 weeks but real life is intervening, and we'll not be restarting with season 6 until 5 August, although in the intervening 9 weeks we'll keep the mage poker evenings going, and I'm working on a couple of alternative entertainments to be announced soon (as soon as I get them fully planned and tested!).​
