Does Name Change affect house ownership?

no the house is account owned. i have actually deleted my character and it did not affect the house.

Delete character does not change house name, but the name change token reportedly does.

• It may take up to 72 hours for the name on your character's house to reflect your character's new name.

one interesting thing is if you are friended to a house and you get a name change your old name is still on the house sign under the friends list but you stil have access to the house with your new name, make sense?

Same with guilds. You'd still show under the old name on the roster etc.
