Do dex affect barding?

I am adjusting my tamer, and for some reason I have 45 dex, I have no clue why I did this.

I seem to remember it affected barding many moons ago, but I am not sure at all.

So do dex affect barding in any way?

No. Though it has something to do with catching your breath after using a Firehorn.

once upon a time a tamer needed 40 dex to heal a pet in 2 sec's

if you had less it took 4 sec (so twice as long)

then one day that just left the game.

so that was probablly why you had 45 dex.
