Disco Gaining Log

So after much debate I decided to add Disco to my Peace/Tamer.

I stoned my Gm Magery, and began working on Disco last work. I started with buring my Advanced Char Token I got from 8th Anniv., stoned Disco, and began at 70. From 70 to 90 I just kept killing Rune Beattles. This took about 5 days, maybe 15-20 hours worth of Beattle killing. I banked (minus a few death and insurance pays), 1.6 mil. At 90 gains seemed very slow, so I jeweled up to 115 and went after Swoops for a solid 3 days, maybe 15 hours worth of Swoop killing and I got up to 94.8 real.

So finally today I had an entire day to kill and nothing to do, so I decided to try Poo's method of Disco gain. I went out and tamed 10 Hirus. This caused me to die 4 times since I had stoned my 120 Music, and then had to rework it back to 100. ( I started by taking the 85 from my Adv Char Template that I took the Disco from). I did gain 0.1 in Disco from taming the Hirus.

So, starting at 94.9 @ 12:11 pm, here is a log of every gain for the day:

So in about 9 hours I gained 5.1 points. I used a 12 second delay instead of 10 seconds just to accomodate for any lag, and I used one big macro in UOA to Disco down the line of 10. Gains were really steady until I hit 99.0. At any rate, this does to show this method does work, requires a bit of patients though.

hey man i also use uoa to disco down the line of 9-10 animals with 11 secs gap then invis 11 secs but how the hell do u get it to loop an restart after that please help me thank you

You can't Its illegal to macro unattened, You have to hit that uoa start Button every time

Or assign it a key but leaving that depress only interupps the macro.

Better off going down your line 3/4 times make a really long macro.

so, here i am.
i am working on my last bard.

(yaaa Europa)
so thought id swing in and post my gains since there is a gain log post here.

started at 33.3 from NPC.
went and tamed 30 polar bears.
discoed polar bears to 65.0 - took 6 hours.
killled off polar bears.
got Petra to make me a ring and watch with +10 disco on each with imbuing.
replaced with 25 cu sidhe's
plugged in the rest of the day workingon cu's - aprox 18 hours.

so for the rash of posts saying that disco is slow to train and its impossible to gain fast..... well one day from 0 to 102, i think that is totally acceptable.
i could (if i wasnt so OCD) siimply stop now and imbue a ring or watch with +15 skill and i could call this skill done.

this is my pure bard im working.
i finished off my disco tamer the day before but didnt keep track of the time.
but i was 0 to 120 in under 4 days.

i think where the problem is is that some people go and clock in 2 hours and that for them is 'a day'
where to me a day is 23 hours - as long as the servers are up.

so when i say i can 120 in 3 days.
thats 72 hours.
not 6 hours.

hope this helps cut down on some of the confussion.
