Despair:
Damage Type now selectable through context menu on spellbook.
Spellbooks without the context menu can be fixed by casting the despair spell once
My spellbook does not show any "Damage Type menu". Does yours? And what are the "types" of damage?

Thanks for bringing this up. Completely forgot about the damage type option.

Observations from my array of bard characters:
Peace Mastery not showing a damage context menu.
Discord Mastery enables context menu. Default is physical (the active damage type will not be on the list) and can be changed to any of the other 4 types.
Have not yet tested Provoke mastery for context menu.

Where do you see this "list"? When I cast either Tribulation or Despair, I get the "target" finger and that's it... no "list".

the menu is on the book. Click on the book to get a context menu.

As Petra said above. Single clicking the book will bring up the list of damage types.
Also, the current damage type should display in item info when hovering the cursor over the masteries book.

Ahhh... silly me, I never thought to SINGLE-click the book. But, then again, why isn't that documented SOMEWHERE?

Patch notes said context menu, how you bring it up is configurable by you. Alot of stuff uses context menus like insurance, loyalty, quest items.

i use shift+single click for context menus. But it may be different for you. Also make sure you arent carrying more than one Bard book. Even if you drag the icon out of the book it doesnt always treat that as the book you are using when carrying multiple books.

Confusionating but ah well.

theres a button you can hit in the options menu under the mouse settings to set context menu to SHIFT, but i turned that on and STILL nothing.

i even logged onto 5 other bards that all have the disco mastery and nothing.

this is really puzzling.

found it

*grumbles*

Spellbooks without the context menu can be fixed by casting the despair spell once
but it dosnt seem to work if you just cast the spell, or cast it and drop it on yourself.

i had to drop it in my dread mare, NOW it works.
