Jirel admitted in global chat on legends that he has 20-30 major enemies on that shard, which has a very low population to begin with.
During an event, when 3 players(myself included), stood half a screen off from dawn, protesting her reign in rp fashion, Jirel decided to get rather unfriendly. Jirel began using insults, threats and then proceeded to call out the commanding lord of the council of mages.
Jirel's threats were interpretted by several folks as a demand for a duel, which was happily received. Jirel and friends then proceeded to continually insult me and several other players for no other reason than accepting a duel. Jirel's attitude would have had us all believe that he was the best pvper on the shard, an attitude that quickly escalated this from a duel for honor to a duel for suits.
When push came to shove, Jirel made excuses and began trying to back out of the duel when it became clear to him why half the shard felt Jirel and co were idiots. I am a well known pvper on several shards.
Regardless, Jirel and friends shot off their mouths for so long in global I had time to go out for a few hours after he had totally backed out and come back to catch more of this silliness. Jirel, according to his friends and random folks in global informed everyone that Jirel is a very unstable person who does this sort of thing often.
Last night, Jirel went so far as to accuse nearly 80% of the legends pvp community, across every major guild as being the same person with 100 accounts, systematically harassing him. It's obvious this is some crazy kinda person, and I left them alone on the basis that I believe him to be under 16 and obviously unsuited to match wits.
