[General] Crafting procedure step by step?

So now in post imbuing and reforging UO, what's the step by step method for getting the best results from crafting?

Craft with plain or colored materials? With regular or runic tools?
After crafting the item what's the order of things? PoF, Imbue, Enhance, Reforge?
Could someone please do a basic step by step breakdown, and give a basic explanation of what the steps actually do for the item?

It totally depends onm what you are trying to make. If you are going for a single value to be really high, then likely craft with normal materials and then reforge. Of course there is no reforging for jewelry so nothing has changed there since imbuing arrived except Shame loot gives a chance at finding jewelry with higher mods than before.

Be a little more specific and then we can give you better advice.

Say I want to create a bow for general hunting. No specific slayer, but max damage output. So let's say a shortbow with SSI, DI, HCI, Hit Spell and Velocity. What would create the bow with the highest mods?

I think it goes.
Craft Execeptional/Reforge/PoF/Imbue/Enhance.

Your Bow add-ons depend greatly on your suit. If your rockin a 100Damage Inc suit, you bow requires very little DI. Same goes with your Stamina/Suit SSI/ your goal for hits per second. Your HCI depends if you have HCI on your suit. So give us the rundown of your suit stats and it will help us sorting out a bow for your needs.

I'd try to reforge a bow with an Ash runic to get 40 SSI and then (after PoF and Imbue) enchant it for additional 10 SSI.

How about this: 100 LRC / 70 resists / as much luck as possible.

That is a pretty simple suit to make.

Craft with regular leather, powder up to something reasonable since you will break some pieces, imbue 100 luck using chuga mushrooms. Enhance with spined. The pieces that survive will have 140 luck. Then add 18% LRC via imbue to 5 pieces and 10% to the last piece for 100 LRC. Then go back and enhance resists till you hit 70.s Look for pieces with the lowest of that resist and bump up. Each piece will have 140 luck and lrc and able to have at least 3 resists bumped up with imbuing. You can actually imbue the suit to all 70's using 2 resist per piece. That leaves you 1 slot per piece open to add in say 6 or 7 mana. You should be able to make a 140x6 (840) luck set of armor, 100 lrc, all 70's with no jewels/weapon.

If you want max luck its pretty much the same thing except you will need to first reforge items with horned kit to get 150 luck. Then you will powder, imbue up to fit your requirements and then use a forged metal tool (like $10 in the UO store) to enhance with spined and you will have 190x6 pieces instead.
