Council Du Roi - Inaugurations

When King Blackthorn entered the Hall and looked at all the empty seats beside his, a broad smile appeared on his face. "Not long now, and we will know who will fill those seats for the next term."

"Let's see... " Blackthorn rummaged through the stack of reports in front of him. "Hmm, it seems Governor Aragorn of New Magincia is under pressure. Wally's plan to turn the city in to the fishing capital of the realm clearly resonates with the people. I wonder how to the Governor of Skara Brae will react to that…"

Blackthorn picked another report from the pile. "Palin Whiteblade, the former Governor of Skara Brae isn't even on the ticket… Well, his successor will have his work cut out then!"

"And what about Minoc?" Blackthorn continued to leaf through the reports. "Oh, that is a close race! Escaflowne and Lien are only a few votes apart! Exciting times for government!"
Blackthorn grinned. "Now those are a few words not often used together."
OOC Note:
This is an in-character meeting with King Blackthorn and the Governors to discuss matters of the realm. Of course Citizens are welcome to attend and join the discussion.
Tonight will be a short meeting with the King to welcome new and retaining Governors to their post. Followed by a meeting with EM Emile Layne where Governors get to talk and ask about their plans and possibilities.
