Console Based MMOs

I think console MMOs are basically dead in the water. I'm not sure that a game with the complexity of a decent MMO can ever be played effectively with a simple controller. Plus there's no way to talk/interact with other users via a console (no keyboard).

FFXI on the PS2 allowed you either to talk via the controller, tapping out keys that way (complex and slow) or by using a USB keyboard

Present tense. Still does. 360 users can do the same, as well as voice via gamertags.
