Vista....

when i use the hot key to talk i get error beeps....

I am running it as admin, i can hear, and i can talk but pressing the hot key starts error beeps..

any suggestions?

Try changing the Hot Key.

Or using a different version of vent, that helped me when i had a similar problem

Thank you both. Dell rep wanted me to pay to talk to their experts!!!

I did find a solution though while remote accessed to Dell............i turned the sound to none for default beep....something like that. MIC is working now!!!
