Collecting Warrior Solo Highlights

Calling all Warriors!

As mentioned before, I am working on updated How-to documents for some of the warrior classes. What I would like to do is harness each of your experiences. There are many critters in this game I have never soloed... but some of you have succeeded with those same ones whose deafeat has eluded me. I would like to collect your stories.

Please reply to this thread with the following:
- Peerless, Champion, or All-around super bad guy you defeated
- Picture of the encounter (if you have a screen shot)
- List your exact skills when you defeated the foe
- Tell us your tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) you used
- Identify anything special about your weapon or suit

I plan to take these stories and merge them into a narrative on what is possible (and also what is currently viewed as impossible) to solo with various warrior templates. And yes, you can repeat the boss someone else posted on, but please tell us what TTP or weapon/suit made your encounter different.

I will look at PvP encounters in the future with other players, but for now please help me collect PvM specifics.

What weapon and mods Corwin?

I used Leafblades and Kamas. I didn't craft them specially for my sampire. I used what I found in my chests when replaced swordsmanship with fencing on my sampire.

Reptile and Demon slayers have 26 HLA, 96 HML, 60 HLL, 31 DI. I crafted them for my dexxer with healing.
Undead slayer has 20 HLA, 68 HML, 96 HLL, 31 DI. I crafted it for my dexxer to test reforged HLL.
Elemental and Arachnid slayers have 40 HSL, 30 HLA, 96 HML, 35 DI. I don't remember what for I crafted them.

Kama is Reptile slayer and has 50 HML, 50 Cold Area, 70 HLL, 45 DI.

My dexxer has 120 chivalry and needn't HSL. My sampire needn't HSL when fight UEV or Paragon Balron (15 SR is enough). But it need HSL when fight something that hits hard.

OK i'm still trying to figure out refinements and how they work. With your caps around mid 70's for resists I thought that would lower your cap for
DCI or am I missing some thing here. The reason why I ask was I would like to make a new set of wood land armour and raise the caps on the resist
and keep the DCI at 45 if possible. Also can you raise the caps on your existing woodland armour that's already been imbued? Clue less on this refinemment
stuff. Last question what would be the wording of the refinement to use for woodland armour pieces to max out the caps on resisit? I of course use an
elf so the enegy resist is already at 75, and can you raise these above 75? Lastley great work with all this info its a big help to me and other players!

This is an older post, but I just noticed it. Corwin, 6 minute Navery kill sounds good - were using the rocks on her?

Yes, I did.
6 minutes is very good. Another my archer need 8-9 minutes to kill Navrey (using Composite Bow).

I haven't time to watch replays carefully but currently I'm not sure what game he is playing.
It looks like slasher doesn't use Dismount/Panic, Melisande doesn't use heavy spells/slow, satyrs don't use peace/disco and so on.

I watched the fight against Shimmering.

With AI we do about the same damage (I do up to 168 and he does up to 174). I do up to 35 damage without AI (with CW). He does up to 70 damage without AI (without CW). And he does up to 70 damage to small bubbles. I do 20-30.
I use a barded dragon, he uses an ethereal mount. I take up to 31 damage per hit with Feint on. He takes up to 22 damage and most of time he takes under 10 damage.
Sometimes I miss 3 times in a raw. He almost never misses.

What's your feeling, CorwinXX, that he's using some uber weapon of that something doesn't seem right?

As to UO Guide Shimmering has 60-80 resists. I think he fought it till meet one with 60 resist. I think its damage is varies as well.
He is a 'records maker'. I remember I did a record for Hero II. I restarted many times till I got proper initial state. Finally I was able to win on a max size map and max difficulty level in 8 days (usually it takes 1-2 months).
As you can notice he lured Shimmering to the portal but with such weak Shimmering he really needn't to do this. So I assume that he expected it to be much harder but waited for a lucky roll of the dice.

I have killed Adrian solo. All you need are disco/music and something that helps you don't go asleep.
