YAY! I was hoping this would happen, and relieved that it is.....was not looking forward to the barrage of 'when are the moves gonna be reinstated' and 'unfair playing field' posts in the weeks ahead, but was actually expecting them. EA has exceeded this sim's expectation twice in one day....WOOT!

No, this is moves, not merges....The MERGES are when sims will go with their lots in tact, the bullet train is for those who are homeless and just don't wanna wait for the merges and/or are willing to sacrifice whatever house they have in order to get to play in EA Land sooner. Still good news!

Not necessarily....sounds like when the city they are *leaving* shows as being back up, they should be able to log back in and see those sims in EA Land if the moves happened successfully. Them landing in EA Land would not affect sims already there, they'd just be logging into the city while everybody else is already about their business.

The automatic Sim Move program worked during maintenance.
The Dev's are hand moving everyone, by shutting down the city of origin and moving the sims qued up for the Bullet Train.....one city at a time.

i just tried to log one of my accounts into ea-land i get stuck at 50% (Initial serverconection, authorizing user) after putting in name and PW, then it jumps back to put in name and PW again

anyone else this problem?

maybe it has to do with the moves so i cant log into ea-land?

If your sim is set to ride the bullet train, aka move then you will login to EaLand Beta as that is where you will be moved to.
